Major Changes on ICANN’s Presidency in March 2016
According to an ICANN press release on the 21st of May, the President and CEO Fadi Chehadé is due to end his tenure in less than a year as a result of his intention to take up a new challenge in the private sector, which is not connected to the domain names field.
Mr. Chehadé is determined to ensure continuity in his work until a new leader will come in his place and therefore he will seek to help ICANN board about any problem which requires implementing IANA Stewardship Transition from the US Government to ICANN.
The managing directors wanted to thank Mr. Chehadé for his support and help, and expressed their certainty related to his involvement with the management team in order to continue to offer their clients the best services possible, in the most efficient manner.
In his turn, Mr. Chehadé expressed his deep commitment to his responsibilities during the remaining time and said everything will continue as usual until they will be able to strengthen the current operations for the users worldwide.

Mike Mann, DomainMarket’s owner, announced recently that it has sold the domain name IndustrialHeat.com for $22,500.
Mike Mann, the owner of DomainMarket.com , is the one who made the announcement :
“Heating up the domain industry. Sold IndustrialHeat.com $22,500. Purchased 4/6/2012 $60″
Mike Mann acquired the domain name three years ago for just $60.
According to whois records, the domain name was first created in March,2000.
