.London, one of the most anticipated new gTLD extensions, entered General Availability yesterday .Over 35,500 .London domain names have been registered during the first 24 hours of General Availability.
More precisely, .London wound up with 35,557 domain names registered during the first 24 hours of General Availability.
According to ntldstats.com, .London is the most successful new gTLD launch to date.The numbers also include registrations from Sunrise and Landrush period.
At the time of writing this article, .London ranks as the 12th new gTLD . The first spot is taken by .XYZ with 486,576 domain name registrations, while the second spot is taken by .Berlin with 138,638 domain name registrations.

Heritage Auctions Offers Private Domain Name Brokerage Services
Heritage Auctions announced recently that it is now offering private domain name brokerage services. The company announced that it has successfully sold over $4 million in domains in the first year .
Heritage Auctions said that their plan is to hold live auctions ,just like before.Howevere, the company said that they are now offering private brokerage services or select domains.

ICANN Extends Call for Candidates: Seeking Advisors to the ICANN Accountability & Governance Coordination Group
In light of the 6 – 27 September public comment period on the Enhancing ICANN Accountability and Governance Process, the Public Experts Group has decided to extend its Call for Candidates.
