DNS Belgium Releases New Version of the Terms & Conditions for .BE Domains
DNS Belgium, the company behind .BE extension, has recently released a new version of the Terms and Conditions for .BE domain names.

“From mid-November onwards, DNS Belgium will be offering a new service to the registrants of .be domain names, called the “Domain Guard”. DNS Belgium therefore made some minor changes to the Terms and Conditions that apply to all .be domain names.
When registering your domain name with your registrar, the latter normally asked you to accept the current version of the terms and conditions.
The new version (5.2) contains a description of the new service, the “Domain Guard”. This new functionality prevents any unwanted configuration alteration, update, transfer or cancellation of the domain name in question.
The new terms and conditions will come into force on 3 November 2014 and will, from that date, apply to all registered .be domain names and their respective registrants.”

.BAYERN Off To A Flying Start On First Day Of GA With 19,000 Registrations
The new gTLD aimed at the German state of Bavaria, .bayern, got off to a flying start this week, with 18,677 registrations on day one of General Availability, taking its total to 19,165, according to nTLDstats.com. General Availability commenced at 12:00 on 30 September.
The start was even more notable, being the third largest day one General Availability launch of any city gTLD, behind .berlin with 31,731 and .london with 21,198 registrations.
Bavaria is Germany’s largest state by area and second largest by population with around 12.5 inhabitants and whose capital is Munich.
There are no eligibility restrictions on .bayern.
