Unable to transfer away a domain expired at namesilo.com

I have hardly ever let a good domain expire and I have never let a domain expire at namesilo earlier so this is new to me. Basically I just want to transfer away the domain. But I could not get an auth code.

Currently this domain has a status of Expired (grace period). When I click the domain to get the control tools it displays the following message.

Was it always like this ? Is there a way to get around this ?…

Domaincontrol nameservers

I am sorry if this is very basic question. I have a domain registered in GoDaddy. When I checked my nameservers they were under domaincontrol. Why is that? Shouldn't they under my site name or GoDaddy's?

And also I would like to know which is best tool to look up any domain's DNS reccords?
