Five .XXX domain name cases have been solved so far :
1.HEB Grocery Company submitted a complaint to the National Arbitration Forum on December 29,2011 ,asserting legal rights over the domain name HEB.XXX .This is the first complainant to win a .XXX domain name in arbitration
2.An arbitrator with the National Arbitration Forum has awarded RichardBranson.xxx domain name to Richard Branson.Richard Branson submitted a complaint to the National Arbitration Forum on January 10,2012,asserting legal rights over the disputed domain name.
3. An arbitrator with the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center has awarded DenizBank.xxx domain name to Denizbank.The Panel ordered the disputed domain name to be transferred from the respondent to the complainant .
4. An arbitrator with the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center has awarded BorusanHolding.xxx domain name to Borusan Holding.Borusan Holding submitted a complaint with the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center on January 18, 2012,asserting legal rights over the domain. Borusan Holding has a trademark registration for “Borusan Holding”,registered on May 23,2005.Moreover,the company has a registered trademark for “Borusan” since 1982. Therefore,they managed to demonstrate that the domain name is confusingly similar to its trademark.
5. An arbitrator with the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center has awarded Valero.xxx domain name to Valero Energy. According to whois records Valero.xxx was registered on December 6,2011,the day ICM Registry made the .XXX extension available for public sale.Valero Energy decided to submit a complaint with the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center asserting legal rights over the domain name.
DNS.be,the company behind .de domain names,announced recently that the Flemish government has assigned the concession of the .Vlaanderen gTLD to them.

“Today the Flemish government assigned the concession of the gTLD (generic Top Level Domain) .vlaanderen to DNS.be
By managing the .vlaanderen domain names DNS.be aims to reinforce its mission to make the internet more accessible and to encourage its use.
With its 1,25 million .be domain names DNS.be becomes the partner of the Flemish government that aims to give citizens, companies and organisations the opportunity to link with Flanders by registering their name or label.
DNS.be will draw up and submit the application for ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers), as well as manage the technical and commercial exploitation during 10 years.
A concession of services is the formula which was chosen for this partnership.
The timing ICANN proposes to process all applications, will determine when the reservation of a .vlaanderen domain name will be possible.”
