Microsoft has filed  a complaint with the National Arbitration Forum,asserting legal rights over BingPlaces.com and MSNPlaces.com domains.

Microsoft should expect the National Arbitration Forum order the domain names to be transferred,considering the company owns both the “Bing” and “MSN” marks .

The National Arbitration Forum will examine if the domain names are confusingly similar to the trademarked name.Moreover,it will examine if the owner of the disputed domain names has rights over it and if the domains are being used in bad faith.The domain names will be passed over to Microsoft if it falls under all three of these stipulations.

The case is still pending compliance checks with the National Arbitration Forum .

According to the statistics on the Coordination Center for TLD RU, there are now more than 780,000 active  .РФ domains.The Russian Internationalized DOmain name .РФ has been intoduced about two and a half years ago.

.РФ became accesible on November 11,2010 for all comers,after the Coordination Center for TLD .RU became the administrator of the new cyrilic domain name .РФ on May 12,2010.

Less than  a week after the Russian Internationalized domain name .РФ became available for all comers, more than 500,000 .РФ domain names have been registered,with more than 240,000 domains being registered within the first day.

According to the statistics on the Coordination Center for TLD RU,there are now 781,580 .РФ domain names.
