ICANN has released the latest statistics for new gTLDs. Below are the key Contracting statistics ICANN released as of 22 November 2013:

 

SnapNames 4 Letter .COM Super Sale Auction is Underway

SnapNames is holding these days the ” 4 Letter .COM Super Sale” auction.The auction features 102 four letter .COM domain names,all at “No Reserve” .

 

The auction ends on December 12,2013 at 3:15 pm ET.So far,only one domain name received bids :

Famous Four Media Partners with Sedo to Help Market its Premium Name Portfolio of Domain Extension

Sedo,the world’s largest premium domain marketplace and monetization provider, and Famous Four Media ,announced a partnership to bring some of the most exciting domain names to market.

When the Internet’s governing body, ICANN, announced plans in 2011 to dramatically expand the number of domain extensions, FFM was one of the most active participants in the program, applying to manage 57 new gTLDs. In the coming months, FFM will begin making 12 of these extensions available to the public, beginning with .BID and rapidly followed by.WEBCAM, .TRADE, .ACCOUNTANT and .REVIEW. The remaining extensions will be released at later dates as they’re awarded to FFM and approved by ICANN.

Other gTLDs that FFM will be launching in 2014 include .WIN, .DOWNLOAD, .SCIENCE, .LOAN, .MEN and .DATE..

Sedo’s Premium .Info auction just started.The month’s auction inventory include 199 premium .Info domain names .

 

The auction will run for seven days,and ends on the 28 November at around 6pm CEST .All the domain names have a reserve of $100-$400.
