ICANN Audited Financial Statements for FY14 Have Been Published
Baylor University Wins BaylorDentalJournal.net Domain Name in Arbitration
An arbitrator with the National Arbitration Forum has recently awarded the domain name BaylorDentalJournal.net to Baylor University.The company submitted the complaint on jULY 23,2014.
According to whois records, the domain name was first registered in November,2013.
Baylor University owns many trademark registrations for the “Baylorr” mark all over the world.Therefore,it is more than obvious that the disputed domain name is confusingly similar with its trademark .Moreover,the company contended in the complaint that the respondent has no rights or legitimate interests in the disputed domain name and that the respondent registered and used the disputed domain name in bad faith .
The arbitrator assigned to the case ruled in favor of Baylor University,indicating that the company has full rights to the disputed domain name .The respondent’s loss was also partly due to the fact that he failed to submit a response in this proceeding ,accepting these way Microsoft’s allegations as fact .

ICANN FY14 Annual Report of Expense Reimbursement and Other Payments to ICANN Directors For the Period 1 July 2013 through 30 June 2014
As part of its accountability and transparency processes ICANN publishes a report which provides, in part, that “The Board shall publish, at least annually … a description of any payments made by ICANN to Directors.
As part of its accountability and transparency processes ICANN publishes a report in accordance with Article XVI, section 3 of the ICANN Bylaws which provides, in part, that “The Board shall publish, at least annually … a description of any payments made by ICANN to Directors (including reimbursements of expenses).”
ICANN’s FY14 Annual Report of Expense Reimbursement and Other Payments to ICANN Directors for the Period 1 July 2013 through 30 June 2014 is now posted and is available to the community. The Community is invited to review form.
