.XYZ is the first new gTLD to reach 900,000 registrations.At the time of writing this article, there are 900,739 .XYZ domain name registrations.
375,425 of the 900,739 registrations are from Network Solutions.Xin Net Technology Corporation has 174,042 registrations while GMO Internet INC has 126,497 registrations.
According to ntldstats.com, there are now 5,298,980 new gTLD domain name registrations.Only seven new gTLDs ( .xyz,.网址 (xn--ses554g), .Science, .Club, .Berlin ,.Wang and .Link) have more than 100,000 registrations ,18 new gTLDs (.xyz, .网址 (xn--ses554g), .Science, .Club, .Berlin,.Link, .Wang, .Realtor, .Guru, .Link, .NYC, .Top, .Science, .OVH, .London, .Photography,.EMail and .Today) have more than 50,000 registrations and 30 have more than 25,000 registrations.

Board Approves ICANN Five-Year Operating Plan (FY16-FY20)
On the 26 April 2015, the Board met in Los Angles, California, and approved the ICANN Five-Year Operating Plan (FY16-FY20) [PDF, 1 MB].
The Five-Year Operating Plan helps to establish and communicate the roadmap that operationalizes ICANN ‘s menu of work, and sets forth details for each Strategic Objective and Goal – portfolios of ICANN activities, key operational success factors (outcomes), key performance indicators (measurements), key dependencies, and phasing over the five years (at the Goal level); and is complemented by a five-year financial model, which describes the principles and approach to ensure financial accountability and sustainability in achieving ICANN ‘s mission.
The Five-Year Operating Plan is an integral part of ICANN ‘s planning process as it informs the subsequent planning phases for each year and is the result of a collaborative and bottom-up multistakeholder process, which included extensive public input.

Amazon Files Complaint For Three Amazon-Related Domains
Amazon,has recently filed a complaint against the owner of three Amazon-related domain names,seeking control of it.
The three domain names are : amazondevice.org, amazondevices.org, buyamazondevices.com
Amazon filed the complaint with the National Arbitration Forum on April 30,2015.
According to whois records, amazondevice.org was first registered in January, 2015,amazondevices.org was registered in December 2014 and buyamazondevices.com was first registered in April 2015.
The National Arbitration Forum will examine over the next days if the domain names are confusingly similar to Amazon’s trademark,if the current owner has rights over it and if the domains are being used in bad faith . The disputed domain names will be passed over to Amazon if it falls under all three of these stipulations.
At the time of writing this article, the case is still pending compliance checks with the National Arbitration Forum.
