Texas A&M Acquires 12thMan.com Domain Name

According to a Chron.com article, Texas A&M acquired the domain name 12thMan.com.The domain name was acquired from Eric Arnold.

 

According to whois records, the domain name was first registered in 2000.The owner was prohibited from disclosing the acquisition price.

According to Chron.com, “Texas A&M had approached me a while back about acquiring that domain name, and since I wasn’t operating it any more for my business purposes, I felt strongly that they would be a good owner of the brand to continue it,” said Eric Arnold.

“I had been around football and coached for a long time, and we always talked about the 12th man being the fan,” he added. “I honestly didn’t know about the A&M story until seven or eight years after we started the company.”
