According to Karim Jiwani, President of RegistryPro: “There has never been a better time to register .PRO domains and we are pleased to auction a sample of our most highly sought after names. Everyone knows the value of a short domain name and we are happy to give the professional public the opportunity to bid on these great .PRO names.”

Because .PRO registrations are restricted to registrants with proof of professional identity they are the perfect tool for the professional community to verify their identity online.

Since the November launch of .PRO 2.0, RegistryPro has seen a significant rise in registration numbers. Currently, .PRO has had 22 consecutive months of growth, making it one of the fastest growing TLDs in the market. In 2011, .PRO was named a TLD with “heavy growth potential” by dot-nxt.com.

Jiwani continues: “At RegistryPro, our goal is to provide registrants in the professional community with a TLD that allows them to promote their professional status online. It is our hope that the domains will be bid on by registrants who plan to build the domains out and enhance the professional community online.”

“Domain names are like 21st century real estate – it’s important to get your place on the Internet,” said Paul Nicks, Go Daddy’s Director of Product Development for the Aftermarket. “The .PRO auction will allow many professionals the chance for some prime Internet property.'”

Stand out among your competitors and show the world you mean business with a domain name that means ‘professional’ in 20 different languages.
