An arbitrator with the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center awarded the domain name NewYorkRedBulls.xxx to Red Bull GmBH.The company filed a complaint with the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center on April 4,2012,asserting legal rights over the disputed domain name.

According to whois records the domain name was registered by Andrew Ayton on December 6,2011,the day  the ICM Registry made the .XXX extension available for public sale.

Red Bull has many trademark registrations for the “Red Bull” mark in 205 countries around the world,including in the United States.Therefore,the managed to demonstrate that the disputed domain name is confusingly similar to its trademark.

The WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center examined if the owner of NewYorkRedBulls.xxx has rights over the domain name and if the domain name is being used in bad faith and ordered the domain name to be passed over to Red Bull because it falls under all three of these stipulations.
