Manwin Licensing International SARL,a well known porn company,has recently filed a lawsuit against ICM Registry (the company behind .XXX domain),over the .XXX domain .

The company stated that the .XXX domain names are too expensive and accused ICM Registry of
“monopolistic conduct, price gouging, and anticompetitive and unfair practices.” Manwin spokesman said that the ICM Registry charges annual registration fees of $60 per address.

Stuart Lawly,ICM Registry CEO said about the lawsuit :

“We are certain the claims are baseless and will vigorously defend this matter.”

The Landrush period for .XXX domain names ends tomorrow .The Landrush period is the second of the three-part launch process of .XXX domain names,that started with Sunrise and will culminate with the launch of General Availability.The Landrush period is a17-days period set aside for members of the adult Sponsored Community who wanted to secure premium .XXX domain names .At the end of this period,.XXX domain names that have only one application will be simply awarded ,while those with two or more applications will proceed to a closed mini-auction between the respective applicants.
