.net price strategy. Will you move from expensive .org to .net?

i see that Internet casino. net gets some attention on DC auction and trying understand Verisign strategy on dotnet domains. high renewal and high reg fees will kill dot net gtld? or I am wrong.
Do you register dotnets?
