Microsoft revealed its first major revamp of XBox since 2005,XBox One. Even though everybody thought Microsoft will name the new XBox system , Xbox 720,the company decided the system to name the system XBox 720 .

The company did not secure the domain name XBoxOne.com domain before announcing the release of the new XBox system.

According to whois records,XBoxOne.com was registered by Krasimir Hristov Ivanov from London in December ,2011 .The domain name is currently going to a GoDaddy Lander.

After the company made the announcement,people rushed to register XBox One-related domains.The following domains were registered today :

XBoxOne.org

XBoxOne.info

XBoxOne.co.uk

XBoxOne.us

XBoxOneGame.com

XBoxOneForum.com

XBoxOneForums.com

XBoxOneNews.com

Microsoft is not the only company that forgot to secure their domain names ,before launching a product .Another example is Yahoo,who still doesn’t own iPad.com .
