ICANN to Release Nine new gTLDs

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) has recently released details of nine new publicly available new gTLDs,including .Bike, .Guru and .Singles.

Only companies with registered trademarks can sign up for a new gTLD for now.However, they will be available for general sale at the end of January,2014.

The nine new top-level domain names that will be available for sale are:

.Ventures

.Camera

.Lighting

.Voyage

.Equipment

.Bike

.Guru

.Singles

.Clothing

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) will release new domains at the rate of 10 a week. This way,ICANN will manage to roll out about 1,400 new top-level domain names over the next few years.
