The newly registered domain name XBoxEvent.com suggests that Microsoft will soon be holding a press conference to reveal their new console.According to whois records,the domain name was registered by U.S. Techs ,recently rebranded as Eventcore .

Eventcore is the company that was responsible for organizing Microsoft’s last event,E3 last year .By registering this domain name,Eventcore suggests that Microsoft is going to revel their successor to its Xbox 360 console .Rumors say that the new console will be released in next month,in April .

As reported here last month,Microsoft has acquired XboxGold.com domain name,suggesting that this XBox Gold will be the name Microsoft has chosen for their next generation Xbox xonsole .Beside acquiring XboxGold.com,the company got hand on many other Xbox Gold-related domain names,including XBoxGold.eu ,XBoxGold.asia and XBoxGold.es .
