Afnic to Hold Workshop on Domain Names on March 25,2014
Afnic, the company behind .FR domain extension, announced that it will be holding an informative workshop on domain names in conjunction with INPI.

“As part of the Cap Digital Meetings organized in Paris, Afnic is organizing an informative workshop on domain names in conjunction with INPI.
The one-hour morning workshop on March 25 will be facilitated by Isabel Toutaud, Afnic Legal Affairs Director, and Caroline Bigot, Head of Promotion of Industrial Property at the INPI. The purpose of the workshop is to allow participants to:
- Understand what trademarks and patents represent
- Understand what a domain name involves, including the legal framework, registration, procedures for resolving existing dispute, etc.
- And understand the links between brands/patents and domain names
