Four new gTLDs entered General Availability yesterday. After the first 24 hours of General Availability, there were 2,518 .Melbourne domain names registered.

.Restaurant had 2,389 registrations after the first 24 hours of General Availability, .Gifts had 1,010 and .Sarl had 176 registrations.

.Gifts will compete with .Gift, which was launched a while ago and had over 7,000 registrations. However, 4,000 were registered by an affiliated company.
