ICANN: IANA Stewardship Transition Coordination Group to Issue Request for Proposal (RFP) to Fulfill Secretariat Function
The IANA Stewardship Transition Coordination Group ( ICG ) will issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to select a suitable contractor through ICANN process to perform its secretariat function. The ICG was established as a result of a broad community consultation and in response to the announcement by the U.S National Telecommunication and Information Administration Department ( NTIA ) of its intent to transition key Internet domain name functions to the global multistakeholder community.
