Donuts Wins .IMMO New gTLD

Donuts has recently won the new gTLD .Immo, after its other rivals withdrew their applications.

Starting Dot, Minds+Machines and dotimmobilie are the three rivals that have withdrawn their applications for .immo new gTLD.Starting Dot applied for a Community Priority Evaluation in order to avoid an auction with the other companies.However, the company failed to score enough points .

Immo is the short version of “immobilien”,which means “Real Estate” in German. The new gTLD will compete against .immobilien, which is delegated to Rightside and already has 5,223 registrations.

Donuts has also revealed recently that its bill for all the new gTLD auctions has come to $50 million so far.
