88 Malicious Domain Names Suspended in April

Group-IB ,an Internet security company filed in April 2014, 104 suspension notices to accredited domain name registrars. 88 domain names were suspended after the company filed the suspension notices.

Out of the 16 remaining domain names, two were not blocked as their administrators resolved the problem and 14 were unblocked after their owners addressed the violation through the standard procedure.This decision was made following an appeal from CERT-GIB.

63 percent of the malicious domain names are flaffed for malware ,while only 5 percent is managed by botnet controllers.
