New Record for a .Net Sale ! Mobile.net Sells for $500,000

According to Jeff Gabriel, DomainNameSales.com Vice President of Sales, the domain name Mobile.net changed hands for $500,000.

This is the highest selling .NET domain name so far.The previous .NET leader was Sex.net, which changed hands for $434,500, eight years ago, in 2006.

The sale was brokered by Andrew Mathias.

According to whois records, the current owner is Steven Renner of Minneapolis.The domain name was first registered in 2004.
