37.COM Sells for Nearly $2 Million

37Wan announced recently that it has acquired 37.com for a whopping CNY 12 million, which means $1,960,800.

According to whois records, the domain name was first registered in 1998.

37Wan co-founders , Mr Zeng Kaitian and Mr. Li Yifei said that it is very important to upgrade their company’s domain from 37Wan.com to 37.com. 37.com is easier to remember and the company wants to expand into global markets.
