Walmart Files Complaint to Obtain Walmart.LGBT Domain Name

Walmart has recently files a UDRP complaint to obtain the domain name Walmart.lgbt.

According to whois records, the domain name was first registered on February 12th. General Availability for .LGBT starrted February 10th.

At the time of writing this article, the domain name does not resolve to a website.

The Panel will examine if the domain name is confusingly similar to Walmart’s trademark, if the current owner has rights over it and if the domain name is being used in bad faith. The domain name will be passed over to Walmart if it falls under all of these stipulations.
